2009 BASEBALL/SOFTBALL REGISTRATION

DATES & TIMES

Thursday  Feb. 5th    Portable 1   7 to 8:30 p.m. (Returning Players only)

Thursday  Feb 12^th    Hall            7 to 8:30 p.m. (Returning Players only)

Sunday  Feb 15^th      Outside courtyard    After morning Masses

Sunday   Feb 22^nd    Outside courtyard    After morning Masses

  Registration closes March 1st, NO Exceptions!

Returning Players must register on Feb. 5^th  or 12^th to guarantee their slot

REGISTRATION FEES

$75 per child and $15 field improvement (total $90.00)     

  -Note- Registration fees do NOT include uniforms                                                                                                                                                       

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

  ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING FOR PROOF OF AGE AND RESIDENCE AT

  THE TIME OF REGISTRATION (INCLUDES RETURNING PLAYERS):

  -Birth Certificate

  -Utility Bill (SAWS, CPS, or AT&T) or Parishioner’s envelope

  Participants must either be registered parishioners at Prince of Peace or live within the Diocesan

  established boundaries.

COACHES

    All Coaches and assistants must have current Coach Certification, Criminal Background Check, Sexual Misconduct Class/Video, as well as the Child Lures Presentation (this is new) in order to conduct practices and coach at games.   

Criminal Background and Sexual Misconduct Class/Video will be offered February 7^th, February 16^th, March 23^rd, and April 18^th.  The Child Lures Presentation will be conducted February 7^th and April 18^th.
